In response to the spread of the coronavirus, the Trump administration along with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are announcing restrictions on non-essential travel between the U.S. and Canada.  Full details are still forthcoming, but the closure means that tourists and shoppers will no longer be able to cross the border.  U.S. and Canadian officials are working to allow truck traffic to continue so that shipments of goods and supplies will not be impacted.  The ban is expected to take effect today.
