Governor Cuomo is ordering a new statewide requirement for businesses.  In a statement Wednesday, Cuomo said that "no business can have more than 50 percent of their workforce report to work outside of their home."  The requirement does not apply to "essential" businesses such as food, food delivery, pharmacies, health care, and shipping supplies nor does it apply to the media.  The requirement was made via executive order and is mandatory.  The announcement comes after the number of reported cases statewide has jumped to nearly 2400, which is the highest reported total in the U.S.
