It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our good friend and longtime WLVL personality Ron Raetz. Ron passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 29th on his 68th birthday. In addition to hosting “Ask The Pro” for many years, Ron also hosted many of our community remote broadcasts, anchored the news, ran the board for sports broadcasts, and even answered the office phones if the rest of the staff was busy. Ron was the true definition of a team player and was always there when we needed him. He always went above and beyond to help anyone out, and did it with a smile. Ron was a good friend to all of us at the station and loved serving the community. To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron’s family during this difficult time.
