New York Attorney General Letitia James announced 17 people are facing charges in connection with an alleged drug trafficking ring that distributed cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin across Western New York and Puerto Rico. Town of Tonawanda Police say a man is in custody, accused of holding up a bank Wednesday. According to officers, 47-year-old David Gadt of the City of Tonawanda walked into Bank of America on Delaware Avenue around 10 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. Officials say no weapon was seen or displayed.On the morning of his induction into his high school’s Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, Brig. Gen. John Lloyd of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers toured the Superfund site that has encircled his childhood neighborhood in Lockport.
