A Buffalo man was arraigned on a seven-count indictment on Thursday after an officer-involved shooting that happened on Sherman Street last month. Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane said the officers’ use of force in the case was justified.Two people were hurt in a shooting near Fillmore Avenue and Victoria Avenue Wednesday night. Police responded to a shooting call around 9 p.m., and a male victim was found and taken by ambulance to the Erie County Medical Center. A second victim arrived at ECMC in a separate vehicle while officers were at ECMC.The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder in the Town of Clarence. Michael Brown, 55 of Clarence is charged with Murder in the Second Degree.The Fashion Outlets Mall was awarded Niagara County Industrial Development Agency tax incentives on Wednesday, which its management hopes can help sustain operations moving forward.Volunteers are being sought for a committee tied to the development of a new city park off Beech Avenue in the north end of Niagara Falls.
