A Niagara Falls man is facing up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to a narcotics conspiracy. Officials said 46-year-old Edwin Miguel Batista was arrested after authorities conducted search warrants on a storage unit at Fashion Outlets Boulevard, a vehicle and a hotel room. A house fire in the Town of Hartland on Monday night is under investigation, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say around 11:15 p.m., they received a 911 call about a house fire on Asher Street. Once at the home, first responders evacuated the residents and were able to extinguish the fire. No injuries have been reported.Notre Dame High School athletic director Michael Rapone has been arrested and is now facing harassment charges. The 72-year-old from Batavia was arrested on Monday after police said they received a complaint that Rapone allegedly made inappropriate and unwanted physical contact with another individual at Batavia Downs for “no legitimate purpose.”The Community Benefits Oversight Committee, which oversees maintenance and operations for the new Highmark Stadium, hosted another meeting on Monday night. Much of Monday’s agenda included talks about concessions around the stadium, which will be led by Legends Global.
