Military officials say a soldier from the Buffalo area has died during a training exercise this week. According to the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield Public Affairs Office, Spc. Adrian Bonsey, 29, a combat engineer with the 9th Engineer Battalion, died when he was struck by an M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle early Wednesday morning at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif. With early voting for the primary election set to start on Saturday, Niagara County Board of Elections officials are reminding residents that Saturday, June 13, is the deadline to register to vote in the primaries. The Board of Elections at 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport, will be open extended hours, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., this Saturday to allow residents to register to vote. Niagara Falls police have identified the woman whose body was discovered buried behind a vacant home on 22nd Street, though authorities have not yet publicly released her name while family notification efforts continue. The grim discovery was made in the early hours of Tuesday, June 9th
