Law enforcement received a call around 12:18am on August 15th after reports of a medical emergency on the 5600 block of Niagara Falls Blvd. at the Enjoy Hotel.The 911 caller told police that part of the ceiling collapsed on a guest inside of his hotel room. The victim was struck in the head by the debris and knocked unconscious. However, he was still breathing when first responders arrived.A suspected bank robber was arrested Wednesday in the City of Buffalo.Town of Tonawanda Police responded to a Bank of America Branch on Delaware Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda at around 10 a.m. Wednesday.Police say 47-year-old David Gadt of the City of Tonawanda walked into the branch and handed the teller a note demanding money. A weapon wasn't seen or displayed.Investigators tracked Gadt to a vacant building in Buffalo, where he was arrested without incident.Law enforcement received a call around 9:19pm on August 14th after reports of an assault on Oliver Street in North Tonawanda.The 911 caller told police that there was a male outside smoking crack cocaine and that he punched her in the face.
