One of America's most recognizable sodas is changing its name — at least for the summer. Starting April 20, Mountain Dew began hitting shelves across the country as "American Dew," in celebration of the U.S. 250th anniversary. The rebrand is purely packaging, and doesn't change the formula or flavor of the soda.. The new look features red, white and blue stripes and white stars modeled after the American flag.
