A 50-year-old man died after a crash on Niagara Falls Boulevard Thursday night, Niagara Falls Police said. Officials responded to the 8100 block of Niagara Falls Blvd. around 9:30 p.m. after an 18-year-old driver struck the man in the roadway while traveling westbound in her Jeep A Buffalo woman, 32 year old Renaiyah Cornelious, was sentenced to six months in jail followed by five years of probation for a drunk driving crash that killed an 81-year-old man last December, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Friday. In Wellsville, Ashley Robichaud, 38, of Wellsville was driving a 2003 Polaris Trail Boss four-wheeler in a pasture with her two children, a six-year-old and a three-year-old. The ATV overturned, pinning Robichaud and her six-year-old underneath. They were pronounced dead at the scene.Residents in the City of Niagara Falls who had items damaged by last weekend’s rainstorm will have a chance to get them removed this weekend. The city says Casella Waste Systems will conduct a special pickup on Saturday, August 8 for storm-damaged items.
