One person suffered non-life threatening injuries in a shooting at a home on Hudson Street over the weekend, the Buffalo Police Department said Monday.A former Jamestown resident has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison for the death of an infant in 2024. That sentence for 28-year-old Sean Thomas follows a plea agreement that reduced the original charge. A nearly $9 million roadway rehabilitation project aims to improve a key stretch of Transit Road. The work scheduled to continue through the end of 2026, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul's office.
